As the newly appointed National Sales Director North, Jose Guerrero will expand his responsibilities and oversee sales for the North, Central, and Eastern regions.  As National Sales Director South, Jim Amstutz is now responsible for the Southern and Western regions.

Both Guerrero and Amstutz will lead and expand the company’s internal sales team and distributor networks, developing strategic partnerships and creating and executing national sales strategies that will continue to drive and expand Global Spirit brands in the U.S. market.  Both will be increasing their state-by-state sales teams to build on the company’s successful market entry.

Guerrero boasts an exceptional career in the beverage alcohol industry.  Prior to joining Global Spirits, he was national sales manager for Anson Imports LLC/7 Mile Spirits LLC overseeing 13 key markets and a team of 12.  He also rose through the ranks of Van Gogh Imports/Luctor International LLC from NY State manager to multi-state sales manager, and spent almost a decade in sales with William Grant & Sons in Metro & upstate NY.

Amstutz is an Entrepreneurial-driven sales leader who has expanded Global Spirits brands throughout the Southern USA over the past 18 months. He has over 15 years experience in the beverage business growing iconic brands such as Red Bull, Heineken, and Leblon Cachaça before creating his own energy drink brand. He joined Global Spirits in 2015, and was initially responsible for the sales and marketing execution with regional and national accounts in the southern region. His efforts led to a 130 percent increase in case volume in one year.

Global Spirits USA saw expanded distribution this past year with the addition of: Athens Distributing and B&T Distributing Co. in TN; Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits, LLC, for SC; Royal Wine in NY; Break-Thru Beverage, NV; General Beverage Sales Company in WI; LaMonica Beverages in IL; Mexcor in TX and FL; MS Walker in MA, RI, NH, ME and VT, and Young’s Market Company in CA and AZ.  The company also has distribution in NJ, CT, IL, and MI.

The brands have also had success in leading retail outlets including Total Wine & More, America’s largest independent retailer of fine wine and spirits, in five states including California, Texas, Georgia, New Jersey and Delaware, in approximately 36 of the company’s stores.
